  • Are PODS permitted on TOSCA property?
    PODS ARE NOT permitted on TOSCA property which includes parking spaces, both numbered and visitor spaces. 
  • Can I build a shed or deck outside unit?
    Yes, however, approval from the ACC is required BEFORE the installation as there are guidelines that need to be followed.

  • I was wondering if i needed to request permission to replace my fence. It's beginning to fall apart, and needs to be replaced. I'm not going to change anything. The dimensions and design will remain the same. The wood needs to be changed
    Please refer to the website for the Architechual Rules and Forms. There are only two acceptable fence styles you may use. You will be able to submit a Request for Change on the website to obtain approval. Failure to submit form before beginning replacement will result in a $50 fee assessed to your unit plus if your fence is not the proper style, you will need to redo the work.

Board Meetings
  • When and where does the Board meet?
    The Board meets the second Monday of each month unless otherwise noted.  Meetings are held at Saratoga Elementary School and in the summer at the Lorton Library.  Meetings are posted on the upcoming events page.
  • Who may attend a Board meeting?
    The meetings are open to all community residents, including tenants.  There may be hearings, which are private matters between the Board and homeowner.  Hearings are held at the beginning of the Board meeting.  All other business is open to the general public.

Parking
  • Are commericial vehicles allowed to be parked in the community?
    Commercial vehicles may not be parked in the community.  This means any vehicle with commercial tags, company logos, or contractor vehicles may not be parked within the community on a regular basis.
  • What are the parking rules in the Community?
    Each unit has 2 assigned parking spaces.  Visitor spaces may not be used by residents.
  • What do I do if someone parks their vehicle in my assigned space?
    If an unauthorized vehicle is parking in your assigned space, you may call Accurate Towing to  have that vehicle towed from your space.  The ONLY time a homeowner may be contact the towing company to have a car towed is when a vehicle is parked in their own space.  All other parking violations should be reported to Cardinal Management.   Accurate Towing may be contacted at:

  • When are cars towed?
    Cars may be towed for violating ACC rules, delinquent HOA fees, lack of current registrations, violations of visitor parking, to name a few.

  • Who may use visitors spaces?
    Visitors, service, repairmen, installation, and deliver vehicles may use visitor spaces. The same vehicle may not continuously be parked in a visitor space.

Renters
  • As a renter, what are my responsibilities.
    Renters have the same responsibilities as homeowners.  It is up to the landlord and in your best interest to inquire about rules and regulations.  Tenants must follow parking and ACC rules, as well as trash pickup schedule.

Trash
  • Can I throw appliances, furniture, mattresses, dressers, remodeling debris etc. out with the regular trash.
    NO, Please call American Disposal (703) 971-4010 to arrange for special pickup.
     
  • When is our trash and recycle picked up?
    Trash is picked up on Monday and Thurdsday.  Recylce is picked up on Thursday.  Trash may not placed out before 7:00 PM on the evening before trash day.  Recycles may not be put out before 7:00PM Wednesday evening.  Fees will be assessed to units who violate this policy.

Yard Sales
  • Are yard sales permitted on front lawns in the community?
    Yard sales are permitted. Please follow sign regulations.
    Signs advertising garage sale or other special private event are
    permitted.
    Signs may not be displayed more than 7 days prior to event. Signs ust be removed on the day the garage sale or event ends.
