Neighborhood Watch Night Out
In light of the events of 2016 and now more than ever, Fairfax County Police needs the support of our community.  Over the past couple years, the Saratoga Community has experienced a number of home invasions, car thefts and various other crimes.  The Saratoga Community currently has a passive Neighborhood Watch (NHW).  On the evening of Tuesday, August 2nd the police will be joining us at the pool grounds between 6:00 and 8:00 pm.  TOSCA will be providing hot dogs, chips and drinks.  Information about our Neighborhood Watch program and how to become a volunteer will be available.
Please come show your support for our Police!!!
Please RSVP to 703-798-7877.  Leave your name, address and how many will attend.
Please bring a side dish to share.
If you would like to see NHW become active in our neighborhood, please volunteer.  We are looking for a NHW Coordinator and volunteers.  We look forward to seeing you there!
Let’s show the Fairfax County Police that we support them!
Many thanks to TOSCA for sponsoring this event!!!

Community Accomplishments
Posted on Jun 13th, 2016
Many people have questioned what TOSCA does with the quarterly assessments each homeowner pays.  Aside from paying fees for trash, recycling, snow removal, lawn care, and management, below you will find a list of things that have been accomplished over the past year.
  • Seal coat remaining roads and add a few speed bumps
  • Sodding and planting in bare common areas
  • New benches at tot lots
  • Saratoga brick wall was raised, new letters in place, and bushes and other greenery planted
  • New playground-safe wood chips applied to tot lots
  • "No Pet Signs" added at tot lots
Prevent and Protect Against Mosquitoes
Posted on Apr 7th, 2016
Do Your Part from the Start!—Prevent and Protect Against Mosquitoes
Control mosquitoes in your yard:
  • Eliminate standing water. Check your yard weekly for containers that are holding water.
  • Treat standing water with a larvicide* if it cannot be eliminated.
  • If mosquitoes are biting, you may want to spray your yard with an insecticide*, particularly the places where mosquitoes like to hide, such as bushy green plants, ivy, other ground-covering plants and bamboo.
  • Organize a neighborhood clean-up.
Protect yourself and your family from mosquito bites:
  • Wear insect repellent* containing DEET, picaridin, oil of lemon eucalyptus or IR 3535.
  • Wear loose-fitting, light-colored, long-sleeved shirts and pants.
  • Keep doors and windows closed and make sure screens are in good repair.
*Use EPA-registered insecticides, larvicides and repellents Follow label instructions.

FREE Applicance Disposal
Posted on Jun 1st, 2015
If you are disposing of a refrigerator, washer, dryer, water heater, diswasher or scrap metal, please call Mr. Gray at 571-241-6772 for a FREE pick up.
Please help TOSCA save money!!  American Disposal WILL NOT take these items and homeowners just leave them sitting at the curb until TOSCA pays for a special pickup.  This is NOT okay.  It is costing TOSCA large sums of money each year to dispose of such items, not to mention trash and recycling that gets blown around the neighborhood because they are not put out in secured bags/cans.  Please help keep this extra expense down by calling Mr. Gray.  He is more than happy to pick up your items.
Thank you!!!
